In order to win a development contract for a new living area near Almere, social housing corporation Vestia contracted Branson & Guevara to create a showcase for the development plan. The package consisted of an interactive website, a YouTube and a large amount of printed material. I was contracted to create illustration, icons and diagrams for a brochure, explaining aspects of the development plan.

As the project was already well underway when I dropped in, I adjusted to the style already set in this project. Initially, the plan was to clarify the brochure, by adding an illustration and diagram, using icons designed earlier, for each topic. While some of the diagrams did "work", it was decided to drop them altogether and to focus on the illustrations where appropriate. In the end, all but two of the illustrations ended up in the brochure. It's a shame Vestia didn't win the contract, especially since the whole presentation really showed how much effort had been put into it.
