This second prototype is demonstrates the possibilities of adding new elements to your workarea and deleting them as well. The prototype's behaviour is based on Apple's Dashboard, where clicking an icon adds a new element to the workarea at its center and dragging the icon results in a morph to the new element's shape and dropping it will yield a new element at the dragged location.

Once a new element has been created, it may be dragged, scaled (up to 800 by 800 pixels) and deleted at the user's discretion. While the elements may look like sticky notes, they don't function like that as of now. There are some differences visible between different browsers: Internet Explorer shows simple rectangular blocks, whereas Firefox is capable of rendering rounded corners. Safari shows drop shadows in addition to (anti aliased) rounded corners.
